The outdoors can change fast, right? This is how it looked out my window last week. Still a few leaves on the trees and it was warm! Check out the video at the end where I do my “dock runway show” for you to see what my totes look like – me, wearing my warm weather shorts.
It’s colder this week. I’ve had on a hat. I wore heavy gloves kayaking this morning – me and Peaches on the lake with a loon couple floating alongside. I’ll have to give up the boat rides at some point but I love the upper body activity, especially in this raw weather when my Lyme sensitive hips are not happy with the downward shift in temperature.
Yes. Weather – it changes. Up and down, wet and dry. And the outdoors: from full on color to brown and grey before the total masking of white. I notice that this is when I’ve tended to really hone in on my art. I’m not lured outdoors as I am in summer. The color I find in my art becomes even more important. Like sustenance. And I can sit with it in the warmth of my indoors and make color and color and more color.
These totes offer you the opportunity to bring color you love into you life, even at the darkest, least colorful times of year. As a source of upliftment when you need it them most. And all the times they can nourish you..
